Hypnobirthing: A Mindful Way to Birth
HELPING YOU FEEL CALM AND PREPARED FOR YOUR BIRTH.
This is a four-week, holistic Hypnobirthing childbirth preparation course for expecting parents, offered in-person in Simi Valley, CA or online via Zoom.
You’ll learn what your body is doing in labor and how to work with it. We’ll cover breathing and relaxation techniques, comfort measures like massage and movement, and labor and birth positions that work with your body, no matter where you’re giving birth. You’ll also learn how you and your birth partner will work together through each stage.
Classes taught by certified Hypnobirthing educator, Marlene Budde.

MY TEACHING
philosophyI'm a mother, Hypnobirthing educator, and doula. I've had two remarkably different births, one where it felt like birth happened to me, and another where I felt connected to my body and my baby, and truly in control. That difference came down to preparation. I teach based on what I've learned, both personally and professionally, because there's no single birth plan that works for every family. I want you to have real, evidence-based information so you can decide what's right for you and your baby. To me, feeling informed is what actually makes you feel confident.
In my classes, you'll get hands-on practice every week, not just information. Breathing techniques, relaxation, comfort measures, and labor positions, all practiced together with your birth partner. This is a complete, hands-on course to prepare you for your birth.

The Perfect Fit For:
First-time or second-time parents planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth. This course is a good fit if you want your birth partner closely involved in your pregnancy, labor, and birth, if you're hoping to use tools like breathing and relaxation to work with your body during labor, and if you're the type of person who feels more at ease once you understand what's happening in your body and know your options.
