Your Mindful Birth Space
Real tools to calm your mind, trust your body, and prepare for birth.
Marlene Budde, Founder of Birthing by Nature
Hey, I'm Marlene, and I'm glad you've found your way here.
If we were catching up over coffee in my cozy den (and yes, that's a placenta mug), I'd probably say something like, "I know how much you're already doing right now, mama." Growing a baby takes so much of your heart, your energy, your everything, and figuring out how to prepare for birth on top of that can feel like a lot.
When I was pregnant with my son, 13 years ago, I remember piecing together bits of advice from everywhere: friends, family, random blogs, and whatever the hospital recommended. I was the girl who kept every pamphlet, circled things, underlined everything. I took it all in, trying to make sense of what I actually needed, but instead of feeling more prepared, I just felt more overwhelmed.
Thirteen years and two kids later, I've learned a lot, not just about birth, but about what actually helps moms walk into labor feeling calm and prepared. Through the moms I've helped and my own experiences, I've seen how powerful it is to feel grounded in your body and confident in your choices. And through my work as a certified Hypnobirthing educator, mindfulness practitioner, and Body Ready Method Pro, I've gathered tools that actually work, not just in theory, but in real life.
That's what Your Mindful Birth Space is: the place I wish I'd had back then. Simple tools that make a real difference, for pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and honestly, everyday life too. I'll share what I've learned, from my own experience and my training, here every week.
Here's what you'll find:
Calming practices that fit into real life, even the messy, tired days
Simple tools to prepare your mind and body for birth, without overwhelm
Honest conversations about choice, confidence, and trusting your instincts
Encouragement, always gentle, never pressure-filled
Whether you're just beginning or getting close to meeting your baby, I hope this becomes a space you return to.
Thanks for being here, really.
xo,
Marlene
